Anthem KIDS SICK POLICY
At Anthem Church we care deeply about the safety and health of our children and families.
If a child has any sickness where they are still considered contagious, they cannot go into class during that time if they have had one of the following symptoms in the past 24 hours:
Fever 100.4 or higher (must be fever free without any medication)
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Heavy Nasal Discharge
Severe Cold or Cough
Shortness of breath
Red or Sore Throat
Head lice, Scabies, Impetigo or Ringworm
Chicken pox, Measles, or Mumps
Red or Pink Swollen Eyes
Unexplained Rash or Pain
During COVID-19 season, every volunteer and family that is utilizing Anthem Kids will be asked the following four questions as a precaution to keep all families and volunteers safe. Please stay home and participate in Anthem Church Online if you or your child answer yes to any of these four questions:
Am I showing any flu-like symptoms? Flu-like symptoms include cough, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, diarrhea (especially in children), and new loss of taste or smell.
Have I had a fever of 100.4 or higher in the past 14 days?
Have I had exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
Do I have any medical condition that places me at high risk if I were to get COVID-19? Conditions may include a reduced immune system, chronic disease, or any other high risk category.
We do not mean to inconvenience any family by our established sick policy, but it is important to protect the other children and volunteers from picking up a type of sickness while participating in Anthem Kids.
Thank you for your cooperation!
