Jesus

We make a big deal about Jesus every week. We believe that Jesus is the only way for us to have a relationship with the God of the universe, and because of Jesus’ cross and resurrection we sing to, give back, and highlight the good news of Jesus every week! 

When we meet

Anthem Students meet weekly from 630pm to around 830pm on Wednesday nights in The Venue. When you arrive you can expect to have some friends your age greet you, and enjoy a cup of coffee or some other refreshing drink while you play foozball, ping pong, sand volleyball or play a video game. 

What we do

When our Wednesday experience begins we usually sing around 3 songs as a way to worship our savior, Jesus! We then will have a fun game for everyone to play together. After that we have a time of prayer for a different country of the world and then we get into our teaching for the evening which we hope will help you grow in your relationship with God. The message given is usually no longer than 20 minutes. After that we have a time where we respond to God and his word by taking part in communion. 

We do small groups

We believe spiritual growth happens best within the context of relationships. That’s why our goal is to connect each student in a healthy small group where they have a safe place to be themselves, process their doubts and ask questions, get encouragement, and discover how they can apply what they’re learning to their everyday lives. Our small groups meet weekly after the worship experience is over in The Venue.

Our students serve

We encourage our students to find a place to serve on Team Anthem. We believe that one of the ways we grow the most in our spiritual lives is by discovering what our gifts are, and then using them to serve in the local body at Anthem Church. Serving opportunities can be anywhere from working in Anthem Kids to serving on the greeting team, usher team, parking lot team, and more!
