how it works
The audition pROCESS.
Apply + Growth Track
Fill out the Team Anthem volunteer application and complete Growth Track online. A background check is required to move forward.
Submit Your Audition
Record yourself on any camera, upload as an unlisted YouTube video, and email the link to meredith@weareanthem.church. Include a reference from a previous worship leader.
Live Callback
If selected, you'll be invited to a live callback at the Worship Center — about 30 minutes with a few other band members. We'll send materials to prepare.
Coffee + Orientation
We'll take you to coffee to talk music, life, church, and Jesus. You'll get everything you need to be ready for your first week.
Team Night
Join us for our annual Team Night — a celebration of what God is doing, a chance to meet the full team, and a commissioning prayer over you.

A Heart for Worship
We make much of Jesus — not the music. We want team members who lead people into the presence of God, not just perform.
Consistent Commitment
Sunday Teams rehearse Wednesdays 7:30–9pm and serve Sundays 7:15am–12:30pm. Reliability matters.
Musical Proficiency
You don't need to be a professional, but you do need to be prepared. Attention to detail in your audition video tells us a lot.
Reference from a Worship Leader
We require a reference from a previous worship leader or ministry supervisor as part of the application process.

All auditionees will learn and perform "Firm Foundation" by Cody Carnes in the key of C. Be precise — match the recording as closely as you can. Vocalists, contact us to adjust the key to fit your range.
