This has been one of the most incredible years of growth and life change in our history! God is growing His church — and you are a part of all that He’s doing through Anthem Church. Thank you for discipling children, caring for students, and inviting your friends to church. As we move toward the end of this year, I have some exciting updates to share with you!
Moving from Give Back to Whatever It Takes
For many years, we’ve given toward a special offering each November called Give Back Sunday—a chance to support our mission partners and bring the hope of Jesus to our city and the world.
As we look ahead to the end of this year, we believe God is calling us to enter a new chapter and take an even bigger step of faith. This next chapter is about more than just a name change — it’s about a renewed calling. God is opening new doors of ministry both locally and globally, and we sense Him inviting us to stretch our faith, dream bigger, and invest in the next wave of gospel impact through Anthem Church.
So this year, we’re retiring Give Back Sunday and launching a new year-end vision offering called the Whatever It Takes Offering. This offering is above and beyond our regular giving — a chance to fuel what God is already doing through Anthem and partner with Jesus to reach more people with the gospel.
What Your Generosity Will Make Possible
Year-end giving is often a big part of our collective generosity each December. This year, we are committing the first $50,000 given toward three mission projects we’ve prayed over and believe God is calling us to fund:
• Helping start a Christian preschool in Guatemala with Ahava
• Supporting gospel outreach to emerging doctors in Cambodia with our local missionaries
• Covering the full cost to train ten young pastors for two years in Albania with Global Equip
Everything we give beyond the first $50,000 will be used to strengthen ministry here at home — reaching more kids, students, and adults, and preparing us to open our new kids wing in early 2026. That new space will make room for 100 more kids at every service — a hundred more children learning about Jesus, growing in faith, and discovering God’s purpose for their lives.
Why It Matters
Anthem, you are such a generous church with a big heart for Jesus and His mission. But moments like this don’t happen automatically. They happen when each of us says, “God, I’ll do whatever it takes to reach more people with the gospel.” And it requires personal sacrifice to make it possible. Your giving is vital to this moment. It’s how we fund the vision before us and move forward together with faith.
How to Participate
Our Whatever It Takes giving season runs from November 1 through December 31 — a two-month window for us to pray, believe, and give toward all God is doing through Anthem.
Every gift marked “Whatever It Takes” will go toward this special year-end offering. We’ll have a powerful moment to give and pray together on Sunday, December 14, but you can give anytime during the season. We’re praying for an outpouring of generosity through the end of the year so we can reach even more people for Christ in 2026.
